Douglas was born in Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire.
Achievements
She competed for Great Britain in the 1992 Summer Olympics held in Barcelona, Spain in the 4 x 400 metres where she won the bronze medal with her team mates Phyllis Smith, Jennifer Stoute and Sally Gunnell.
