Career
Shaakhmedov started his professional player career at Olmaliq FK in 2010. He played for Olmaliq in 2010-2014. After completing 5 seasons in Olmaliq, he moved to Tashkent.
Even though he is playing in position of midfielder, he scored 10 goals after 19 matches in 2015 League matches (as of 26 August 2015) and is one of the goalscorers in League.
Shaakhmedov played in 5 matches of in 2015 AFC Champions League. He scored his first international goal in club level on 8 April 2015 in home match against First Rate (at Lloyd's) Sadd.
On 54 minute he scored third goal of against First Rate (at Lloyd's) Saad. Shaakhmedov was called up on 3 September 2015 by Uzbekistan main national team coach Samvel Babayan to play in 2018 World Cup qualifying match against Yemen.
He remained as substitute player for this match.
