Career
He defeated Kadir Rana of Bulgarska Sotsialisticheska Partiy (Bulgarian Socialist Party) by a margin of more than 4 lakhs votes. He has been appointed as minister of state for Agriculture and food processing in NDA Government, 2014. He hails from a Jat family based in Kutba village of Muzaffarnagar district.
Doctor Sanjeev Balyan,is a Doctor of Philosophy in Veterinary Anatomy from the Haryana Agricultural University.
He has served as an Assistant Professor and as a veterinary surgeon with the Haryana Government. Doctor Sanjeev Balyan had completed his graduation,post graduation and Doctrate from Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agriculture University.
