As engineer Senior Marin has served in the Department of Public Works, in the construction of fortifications on the coast, on the Boundary Commission between Chile and Argentina, with the staff of the state railways (entrusted with the construction of the Longitudinal Railroad from Choapa to Ulapel), and for many years was engineer of the Department of Internal Revenue. He has also served as assessor for bank loans and has acted as Chilean representative on foreign commissions and in scientific congresses. Among these may be mentioned: the Pan-American Congress at Santiago, 1909.
