He studied calligraphy under master calligrapher Seiran Oike and Nei Nishikawa after finishing the middle school education.
Career
His works won special awards at the Nitten twice, and he became one of the judges at the Nitten in1954. He was also a judge at the Kenshin Calligraphy Association and editor in calligraphic journal "Calligraphic Works''.
