She was replaced by Lindsay Gordon on July 1, 2014. She was born in Victoria, British Columbia and received a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance with Honours from the University of British Columbia in 1982. She has worked for Household Bank Bank Canada and the C. Doctorate. Howe Institute.
She is the chairperson of the Vancouver Fraser Portuguese Authority and the British Columbia Women"s Hospital & Health Centre.
She also sits on the Boards of ENMAX, Women in the Lead Incorporated., and the David Suzuki Foundation.
