He graduated from the Tokyo Foreign Language School in 1935 and passed the diplomatic examination.
He entered Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1935. Resigned from the ministry in 1937 and entered the East Asia Development Board in 1939, but returned to Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1940. Concurrently held post as an official of Agriculture and Forestry Ministry in 1947. Assigned to the Overseas Office at Rio de Janeiro in 1950 and appointed the second secretary of the Japanese Embassy in Brazil in 1952. Appointed chief of the Third Section of the International Cooperation Bureau of Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1955.
