After returning home served as professer of Higher Mercantile Marine School and Rinzaishil (Rinzai Sect of Buddhism) University, principal of Dai-ni (Second) Otani Girls' High School and dean of students and professor of Otani Joshi Semmon Gakko (Women's College) and thereafter was appointed president of the newly founded otani Women's Junior College.
Re-elected to House of Councilors (1950). Made inspection tour of U.S.A. as representative of the Diet (1951). Appointed chairman of Standing Committee for Telecommunications (1953) and chief secretary of Liberal Party (1954). Served for over 20 years as chief priest of Jiireiji Temple of Otani Branch of Shinshii Sect and engaged in missionary work in government offices, schools and factories.
