Education
Seiroku IV studied under Dōhachi Tsuruzawa.
Career
After studying under Dōhachi Tsuruzawa, he assumed the name Seiroku IV (1923) and became a samisen player for Yamashiro-Shōjō (Katsubodayū Toyotake). He remained with him for 30 years and then left him over a misunderstanding.
