Career
He was a former Union Minister and active in Circar districts in India. He severed as Minister of State for Agriculture in the Vajpayee government for two years between 1999 and 2001. He was elected to the Associated Press Legislative Council from the North Circar Districts Graduates Constituency in 1958 and 1980.
His last rites were be performed at his native village.
