Aversano was educated at The Lawrenceville School (Diploma 1987), Brown University (Bachelor of Arts 1991) and The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where he earned an Master of Arts in English Literature. As a producer, his film credits include That Awkward Moment, Killers, The Last Airbender, Failure to Launch, Team America: World Police, Changing Lanes, Orange County and Lemony Snicket"s A Series of Unfortunate Events. In August 2006, Aversano was named President of Music Television Films and Nick Movies.
