Two years later he worked as a summer clerk in the Office of the General Counsel at U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Washington, D.C. The same year, he was a judicial extern at Chambers of Judge Manella, Los Angeles. Scott was a Research Specialist-Legal at the University of California, Los Angeles from 2008 to 2016. Since 2016 he has been working as a Faculty Research Librarian at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.
Scott Hamilton wrote “Don't Breathe the Air: Air Pollution and U.S. Environmental Politics, 1945-1970” in 2000. His “Irreconcilable Differences” was published in 2004.
