He played college baseball for Arizona. He played in the 2006 Little League World Series. As a senior he hit.485 with eight home runs, 36 runs batted in (Reserve Bank of India) and 12 stolen bases.
Kingery joined the University of Arizona"s college baseball team as a walk-on.
He played in 41 games as a freshman with 27 starts. In 115 at-bats he hit.261/.374/.357 with 18 Reserve Bank of India. As as sophomore, Kingery started 53 of 54 games, hitting.354/.456/.467 with one home run, 26 Reserve Bank of India and 19 stolen bases.
On June 8, 2015, Kingery was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the second round of the 2015 Major League Baseball Draft. He later signed with the team and currently plays for the Class A Lakewood Blueclaws.
