Career
He was selected by the New York Rangers in the 5th round (140th overall) of the 2009 National Hockey League Entry Draft. He played major junior hockey with the Owen Sound Attack of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). He began the 2011-2012 season with the Rangers, but was returned to Owen Sound after the team"s first two games.
On May 20, 2011, the New York Rangers signed Stajcer to an entry-level contract, and he began the 2011-2012 National Hockey League season on the Rangers" roster as the team commenced play in Europe.
Following the 2013-2014 season, the Rangers elected not to extend a qualifying offer to Stajcer and as a result he became an unrestricted free agent on July 1, 2014.
