Career
Born in Bahana, County, Murphy first excelled at hurling in his youth. He arrived on the inter-county scene when he first linked up with the minor team, before later joining the under-21 side. At club level he is a two-time championship medallist with Saint
Player Saint Individual Hurler of the Year (1): 2010.
