He has worked in television shows such as Dill Mill Gayye, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai and also Humsafars. He also played the lead role in a shortfilm Stations (2008). Azim was a student of Dyal Singh College.
During college days, he used to do small jobs such as a promoter or a coordinator.
He left college in second year to pursue a computer course, as he wanted to earn money as early as possible. The computer course helped me get a job with an Information Technology firm.
Later he moved to Mumbai, to pursue his acting career. The film was honored as the Best Short Fiction category award at International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala.
Azim has also acted in a small role as Rocky in a Hollywood film, Karma - Crime.
Reincarnation. In 2009-2010, he played the role of Doctor Yuvraj Oberoi in Star One’s popular medical drama Dill Mill Gayye. In 2012, Azim acted in a psychological thriller, 64 Panne.
