Education
He graduated from Tokyo University with a degree in agriculture (1922).
Career
After graduating from Tokyo University he proceeded to Europe and America for further studies (1926). Upon return was appointed professor at his alma mater (1933).
While abroad studied under Professor Schumpeter. Besides being professor at Tokyo University, was a director of Agricultural Synthetic Research Institute and a member of Gakujutsukaigi (Scientific Congress). Among his works is "Co-operative and Agricultural Problems."
