Seiji Nishigori graduated from Metal Engineering Department of Tohoku University and became assistant at his alma mater (1928).
Career
Seiji Nishigori promoted to assistant professor (1934) and then became chief of Research Department of Daido Steel Manufacturing Company. He went to Europe and America (1936). Appointed director (1943) and then managing director of the same company (1945). Holds additional posts of director of Kinzoku Gakukai (Metal Science Society), president of Tohoku & Hokuriku Netsu Kanri Kyokai (Tohoku & Hokuriku District Heat Control Association), chairman of Aichi Prefectural Branch of Boiler Association and chief director of Daido Gakuen (Daido Academy).
