He entered Nagasaki Branch Office of Mitsubishi Heavy Industry Company; served as director of Business Department and Machinery Department of the main office and superintendent of Mihara Rolling Stock Plant and became director and counselor of Central Heavy Industry Company; served also as chief director of Japan Steam Engine Manufacturing Workers' Union and director of Japan Internal Combustion Engine Manufacturing Workers' Union, Japan Hydraulic Pressure Steel Manufacturing Workers’ Union and Japan Pump and Water Mill Manufacturing Workers' Union and chief director of Japan Machinery Building Workers' Union and superintendent of Japan Rolling Stock Manufacturing Workers’ Union.
