Seisai Kojima studied calligraphy under Ekisai Kariya.
Career
Seisai Kojima was appointed private secretary to the clan lord. Because of his beautiful style he was honored by the Shdgunate to pen an answer to a letter received from the Russian Government (1848). After this his fame soon spread and students flocked to him from all over the country.
