Seizaburo Kurokawa graduated from Kyoto Higher Technical School (1905) and then studied dyeing for three years in England and Germany.
Seizaburo Kurokawa began operating his own degumming shop (1909) and became chief engineer of Fukui Prefectural Seiren Kaisha (1911). He merged his degumming-shop with another company and established Fukui Seiren Kako Company (1923) and thereafter served as its senior managing director and ultimately became president. He inspected silk and rayon industry in USA and attended the Second International Silk Industry Conference as Japanese representative (1950).
