A judicial recount was conducted, which confirmed Robinson"s victory by a final margin of 41 votes.

Achievements

• She was initially declared defeated on election night, with the riding deemed to have been won by Steve Kim of the British Columbia Liberals. However, once absentee ballots were counted, she pulled ahead to win the riding by a 35-vote margin over Kim.

Membership

She represents the electoral district of Coquitlam-Maillardville as a member of the British Columbia New Democratic Party. Prior to her election to the legislature, Robinson was a member of Coquitlam City Council.
