Career
At the time of his entering the NFL Draft, Jones had set the career record for interceptions (since passed by Ray Jackson in 1995) with 15 at Colorado State University. He would finish the 1990 season with 6 interceptions. Despite never being a long term starter, Jones would finish 1993 under Bill Belichick and Nick Saban with 24 tackles and 3 INT. After bouncing around to the New Orleans Saints in 1994, he would land with the Seattle Seahawks in 1995.
In 1996, he would start 1 game and finish with 24 tackles.
Jones sustained a left knee injury in training camp and was placed on season ending International Rectifier (injured reserve) in 1997 for the Denver Broncos.
