1925 graduated Kharkov Medicine Institute. 1925-1928 postgrad, student at above institutes.
Board member, Kharkov Society of Endocrinologists and Pathologists, Ukrainia Society of Physiologists, and All-Union and Ukrainia Society of Pathologists. Member, Editor Council, journals “Problemy endokrinologii i gormonoterapii” (Problems of Endocrinology and Hormone Therapy) and “Patologicheskaya fiziologiya i eksperimentalnaya terapiya” (Pathological Physiology and Experimental Therapy). Studies: patho genesis of allergic states.
Biological and therapeutic effect of histolysers. Mechanism of the development of alimentary hypoglycemia, hyperlacidemia and hyperketonemia. Advanced new hypotheses on pathogenesis of diabetes mellitus and the theory of insulin effect on the body as a whole.
Devised new method of treating adult diabetes patients with a special diet, now widely used in USSR. Does research on: mechanism of hormone action. Methods of treating influenza, angina, generalized breast cancer and other diseases with sexual hormones or analogous synthetic preparations.
Works deal with pathophysiology and endocrinology. 1919-1921 in Red Army. 1922-1924 Deputy Political Commissar and Pro-Rector, 1922-1926 Dean, Worker’s Faculty, Kharkov Medicine Institute.
