Vasiagin, Semen was born in 1910.


Graduated from the Communist University in Moscow, 1937.


Joined the Soviet Army and the Communist Party, 1932. Party-political work in the NKVD armed forces, 1933. All his life in high political commissar posts in various parts of the army.

Chief of the political department of the land armed forces, 1967. Member of the Central Revision Commission of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, 1966-1981.
