1918-1921 worked for Extraordinary Commission Against Counterrevolution, Sabotage and Speculation in Petrograd, Samara, Bashkiria and in Caucasus. Then various posts in Petrograd: worked for Oil Syndicate, coal trust, member, Board, October Railroad. From 1924 chairman, Northwestern Indiana Bureau.
Member, Main Concessions Committee. Presidium member, Supreme Economic Council. From 1926 chairman, Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic Supreme Economic Council, then deputy chairman, Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Supreme Economic Council.
From 1930 Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Deputy People's Commissar of Supply, then Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics People's Commissar of Forestry Indiana. Member, Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Central Executive Committee. At 12th Party Congress elected candidate member, at 13th-17th Party CongTess elected member, Central Committee, All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks).
1927-1934 member, Organization(s) Bureau, Central Committee, All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks). Arrested by State Security organs.
