Career
He is internationally known as a qari. He participated at the International Competition for Quran recitation in Mecca in 1987, where he finished in 5th place. In Tehran, Podojak reached 4th place and 1st place in Vienna.
Podojak is chairman of the Islamic Community in Austria in Wels.
Moreover, since 2005 a specialist inspector for religious education of Islamic religion Pedagogical Institute. Podojak lives and works in Wels.
