Yaden was born on April 21, 1935; the son of Takojungba and Medemmakla Yaden.
Yaden received a Bachelor of Science degree from Wilson College in 1956. Two years later he earned his Master of Science degree from the University of Bombay. Also in 1965, Senka was given a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Minnesota.
Yaden began his career as a teaching assistant of biology at the University of Minnesota in 1961 and held it for four years. In 1967, he became an associate professor of biology at Jarvis Christian College. Nine years later Senka was appointed a chairman of science division at the same college. Then in 1979, he served as a professor of biology Jarvis Christian College.
Also Yaden worked as a senior science associate of department of pharmacology at Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine (nowadays University of North Texas Health Science Center) from 1981 to 1984. Then in 1985, Senka became an associate professor of science at Parker University, where he served until 1986.
In 1987, he held a position of an associate professor of biology at Talladega College. A year later Senka took a position of a professor of biology and chairman of the department of biology at Wiley College, where he served until 1991. Since 1993 he has been a professor of biology at Texas College.
Yaden has been a president of Naga-American Foundation, since 1989.
On December 4, 1982 Senka Yaden married Theola Thedford.
