After graduating from Tokyo Fine Arts School (1907), he became a disciple first of Eisen Tomita and later of Gaho Hashimoto.
Career
During the Taisho Era (1912-1926) Senrin Kiriya made several trips to India and the South Sea Islands. Later he took some of his works to Poland for exhibition at a religious art show and was conferred an order by the Polish Government (1931).
