Career
Bishop’s School, Perth, West Australia Barrister West Australia, 1870. Member of Legislative Council, 1874. First acted as Attorney-General 1886.
Queen’s Counsel 1887. Delegate, Colonial Conference (London), 1887. 1st Attorney-General of West Australia, 1890 - 97, under responsible Government.
Acting Agent-General West Australia in London, 1891. Returned to West Australia 1891. King’s Counsel.
