Joined the Soviet Army, 1938. Took part in the Soviet-Finnish war, 1939-1940. With military engineers’ army units from 1942.
Commander of Soviet military engineers, 1950-1960. Later professor and head of military engineers’ education establishments. Head of the Engineering Army department in the Ministry of Defence, 1975.
