Sergey Yakovlevich Alliluev

Background

Sergey Yakovlevich Alliluev was born on the 25th of September, 1866 in Ramonie village, Novokhopersky district (now Anninsky district), Russian Federation. He is of peasant ancestry.

Career

Member of the revolutionary movement since 1896. In 1882-1887 he worked in the Borisoglebsk railway workshops. He lived in Tiflis, Baku, Moscow, Rostov-on-Don, in 1907-1918 - in St. Petersburg. In the summer of 1917, Vladimir Ilyich Lenin was hiding in Alliluyeva's apartment. Also took part in the October Revolution in Petrograd and during the Civil War, he conducted clandestine work in Ukraine and Crimea. After the revolution, he was one of the leaders of chores in Moscow.
