Career
1918 volunteered for Red Army. November 1920 took part in the storming of Perekop as a member of the signals unit of the 52th Infantry Division. 1921-1922 participated in All-Russian competition to design the Order of the Red Banner of Labor.
20 March 1922 the drawing of the order which Kuklinskiy submitted was approved by the Competition Commission of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee. Kuklinskiy, as the designer, was asked to supervise the casting of the first models. This model of the order was used until 1933.
