Drawing teacher in the Voronezh Mikhailovsky Cadet Corps (since 1845). Pavlov's pictures, which depict the clothes and types of residents of the Voronezh, Tambov, Saratov, Penza provinces, are in the State Historical Museum, the State Ethnographic Museum (St. Petersburg). Some of Pavlov's drawings are reproduced in “Russian Artistic Leaflet” by V. Timm.
