1944-1945 worked in military hospital. 1952-1955 Secretary, Krasnogvardeysky District Communist Youth League Committee, Moscow. 1955 deputy, head, 1955-1956 Secretary, 1956-1957 Second Secretary, 1957-1958 First Secretary, Moscow City Communist Youth League Committee.

1958-1959 Second Secretary, Central Committee, All-Union Communist Youth League. Deputy, Russian Soviet Federated Socialist Republic Supreme Soviet of 1959 convocation. 1961 headed Communist Youth League delegation Cuba.
