Metalworker by trade. 1895 began revol work at Tula Munitions Plant. Frequently arrested; 1903 deleg at 2nd Russian Social-Democratic Workers’ Party Congress.
After 2nd Congress sided with Bolsheviks. Worked in Tula, Saint St. Petersburg, Moscow and Lugansk. 1915 exiled to Irkutsk Province.
After 1917 February Revol returned from exile to Tula. After 1917 October Revol directed nationalization of Tula Ammunition Plant. From 1919 director of this plant.
1925-1930 chairman, Tula Province Executive Committee, then chairman, Tula Okrug Executive Committee. From 1930 deputy chairman, Moscow Oblast Executive Committee. Secretary, Party Collegium, Moscow Oblast Control Commission.
1933-1935 chairman, Moscow Oblast Court. At 13th Party Congress elected member, All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) Centr Control Commission. At 14th and 15th Party Congresses elected member, Auditing Commission, Central Committee, All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks).
