1930 graduated Higher Artillery School. 1951 graduated advanced academic courses, Voroshilov Higher Military Academy.

Career

Since 1919 in Soviet Army. Fought in Civil War; until 1942 chief of artillery of infantry division, dep. chief of artillery of an army, and chief of artillery of an army, then corps. Since 1942 Commander of Artillery, Voronezh, then First Ukrainia Front.

After WWII Commander of Artillery, Central Army Group (Austria and Hungary), then commanded artillery in a military district. 1952-1955 Chief, Main Artillery Board. 1955-1961 Marshal of Artillery.

Deputy, Russian Soviet Federated Socialist Republic Supreme Soviet of 1955 and 1959 convocation.

Views

The emphasis on peaceful coexistence doesn’t mean that the Soviet Union accepted a static world with clear lines. Socialism is inevitable and the "correlations of forces" were moving towards socialism.
