Graduate Medical Faculty, Moscow University.
1872-1878, while at Moscow University, sided with Revol Populists and became one of the leaders of the Moscow student movement. After graduate university served as zemstvo physician. 1880 imprisoned for six months for harboring revolutionaries and then exiled.
Worked as physician in Ufa, where he was placed under admin exile after distributing illegal lit on his way to spend three years in Eastern Siberia. 1887-1896, after completing his term of exile, engaged in cultural, educational and lit work and practised as physician in Nizhniy Novgorod. From late 1890’s lived in Yalta, where he founded a sanatorium for poor tuberculosis patients.
From late 1890’s member, ed staff, journal “Russkoyc bogatstvo”. 1906 member, Organization(s) Committee, People's Socialist Party. Wrote several political articles and pamphlets.
Brought to trial for his 1906 pamphlet “Land and Liberty”. 1910-1911 imprisoned in Peter and Paul Fortress. After 1917 October Revol lived in Moscow.
1922-1928 physician, Outpatients’ Department, Kremlin Hospital.
