Career
After graduate took part in V.V. Dokuchayevs’s expedition to study the soils of the Caucasus. 1915 qualified as Master of Agronomy at Moscow University. Until 1935 professor, Petrograd Forestry Institute, Tiflis Polytech Institute and Kuban’ Agric Institute in Krasnodar.
1935-1949 professor and head, Chair of Soil Sd, Rostov University. Studied soils of the Caucasus, their origin and geography, vertical zoning and interaction of forest and steppe in the Caucasus. Did research on intial stages of soil formation, salting of steppe soils, et cetera
Religion
