He graduated from the Abramtsevo School of Industrial Art (1977, teachers V.M. Seregin, A.R. Illarionov).
In 1977-1996 he worked as an artist at the Ramon factory of artistic ceramics, developed and introduced into production more than 300 types of products, some of which were awarded with diplomas and prizes of the Ministry of Local Industry. The participant of regional, zonal, republican, all-Union and international exhibitions since 1977.
Author of multi-subject compositions: “Sinks” (1990), “Poetry of Fire” (1990), “Pottery” (1990), floor vases, decorative dishes, dish sets, ceramic compositions for decorating fireplaces and large-format panels (together with I. V. Muravyova) in the interiors of the Voronezh bank in Voronezh (“City motive”, 1995) and Moscow (“Old Town”, “Kamenny Most”, “Shipyards”, 1997), Moscow Industrial Bank (“Old Voronezh”, 1999) , Cafe “Zucchini at the Gates” (on the topic of Peter's history, 2002), “Gazpromproject Engineering” (“The Tree of Life” 2003-2004) and others.
Muravyov’s works are represented in the Voronezh Regional Museum of Local Lore, the museums of the Abramtsevo Artistic and Industrial School, the Moscow Research Institute of Arts and Crafts, the Ramon Art Ceramics Factory and other museums in the country.
