Career
Serxhio is playing as a goalkeeper and he is known for his quick reflexes, excellent shot-stopping abilities, command of his area and accurate distribution of the ball. He started playing football in 2001, at the age of five years in Lamia Football Academy. Since then his personal trainer was beside him, Thanassis Tiktapanidis (first team goalkeeper at Larissa Football Club in 1971, and today"s technical coach goalkeeper in Greece and Cyprus for the youth Arsenal team, and the goalkeeper"s trainer for the Lamia Football Club).
He has been in many tours throughout Greece national and international tournament where, in 2007, he revealed in a Tour in Larissa where 36 teams took part from Greece as Olympiakos Football Club, Panionios Football Club, ARIS, Football Club PAOK, Ergotelis Crete and other team Espanyol, Feyenoord, Football Club Barcelona and Cernava Zvezda Belgrade.
In 2010, he was proclaimed the best goalkeeper from 32 academies of Cyprus and Greece by Arsenal Soccer Academies of London to participate as first team goalkeeper to play in a tournament which took place in the city of London in August 2010. On 21 of December 2012.
He was invited to Athens by the Albanian national staff for a test that he passed, they were invited 33 players and three goalkeepers. Besides that on 14 April 2014 the Albanian National team choose him to be a part in a friendly match between the national team of Albania against P.A.E Zakinthos(Greek team in the first division).
His performance was very good so the coach Foto Strakosha called him again in another friendly game with the Italian National Team U19 in Camerino in Italy.
So far he has been in many tournaments throughout Europe and Asia such as: Italy, Austria, Turkey, Romania, Albania, and Dubai.
