He was assassinated by 4- Bike man who intercepted fire. He was a Pakistani journalist from 2006 until his assassination in 2014. A local Samaa television journalist was shot dead in the Punjab town of Mianwali reportedly over an ongoing enmity.
Shahzad sustained multiple bullet wounds and died on way to the hospital.
Police have started investigations. Shahzad is the fifth journalist to be killed in Pakistan this year.
