Studied at Tiflis Drama Studio.
Career
1920 began stage work. 1921-1928 at Tbilisi Rustaveli Theater. From 1928 actor, and 1937-1947 head and artistic director, Kutaisi Theater (later Tbilisi Mardzhanishvili Theater).
From 1926 film actor. Deputy. Geo Supreme Soviet of 1st, 2nd and 3rd convocations. Roles: in theater: Estevan in 'The Sheep’s Spring” (1922).
