Career
He plays primarily as a Flanker. Buckley plays his club rugby with Garryowen Football Club.
In March 2014, Buckley signed a development contract with the senior squad for the 2014-2015 season. He made his debut for on 5 September 2014, starting at Number 8 in the 13-14 opening Guinness Pro12 defeat against Edinburgh.
Buckley signed a one-year contract extension with in January 2015.
