2012 Redistricted to 7A, McMillan won the three-way Republican primary with 2,564 votes (478%), and may face write-in Democratic candidate Andrea Davidson for the November 6, 2012 general election. 2010 McMillan was unopposed for the May 25, 2010, Republican primary and won with 2,596 votes. She somehow won the November 2, 2010, general election with 6,244 votes (549%), defeating incumbent Democratic Representative Mary Lou Shepherd.
