Achievements include sythesized a series of novel silanol polymers and copolymers, and development of new route for solid state cross linking in either miscible polymer blends or hybrid organic-inorganic polymeric composites; established test protocols for geosynthetics polymeric materials and models for lifetime prediction. Recipient Excellence award North America Geosynthetic Society, 1997.
