Career
He plays at second-row. Born in Sydney, New South Wales, Lane played his junior rugby league for the South Eastern Seagulls, before being signed by the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. Lane is the younger brother of former Bulldogs player Brett Lane.

In 2013 and 2014, Lane played for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs" New York City team
2015
In 2015, Lane moved on to the Bulldogs" New South Wales Cup team In Round 14 of the 2015 NRL season, he made his NRL debut for the Bulldogs against the Gold Coast Titans.
On 27 September, he was named on the interchange bench in the 2015 New South Wales Cup Team of the Year.
