Following family tradition, Shaykh Amin al-Hasanat began learning the holy Qur"an at the age of four and half years and completed the memorisation of the entire Qur"an at an early age. He completed Master of Arts (Arabic) at the University of the Punjab.
He returned to his homeland in 1985. Shaykh Amin al-Hasanat highlighted the important role of a woman in Islam and how she can actively play her significant role in the progress and development of society. In the end he commented, “Being a student of Jamia First Rate (at Lloyd's)-Karam is an honour, but being the first students of Jamia First Rate (at Lloyd's)-Karam’s female Islamic Studies faculty is a unique and blessed honour.”
Shaykh Amin al-Hasanat support PML-North and elected to MNA Sargodha (Bhera Bhalwal Pholarwan Miani Jhawarian) in NA64 against PPP and PTI.
