At the Shine Wrestling event Shine 9 in April 2014, McKenzie competed in a six-person tag team match, teaming with Kellie Skater and Jessie McKay to defeat Nikki Roxx, Santana and Mia Yim.
McKenzie garnered success within Shimmer Women Athletes, defeating the likes of Santana, Rhia O"Rielly, Saraya Knight, and Allysin Kay.
McKenzie made an appearance on the October 28 episode of NXT, WWE"s developmental territory, losing to Emma. Allison cites Brock Lesnar and Trish Stratus as her inspirations in wrestling.
