Career
He was the Minister of Finance in 2000. Shea obtained his doctoral degree from Stanford University in the United States in 1978. After finishing his doctoral degree, Shea went back to Taiwan to work for Institute of Economics.
He became associate research fellow in 1978-1982 and research fellow in 1982-2000.
